I am a self-taught entrepreneur. Character is more important to me than talent in the long run. I moved to Los Angeles with no money and, after years of failures, kept developing myself, and things eventually turned around. I credit my success to having a good business partner, learning from failure and success and continued self-education.

Cats or dogs?
Dogs for sure. They have a lot more rational thought and you can create a deeper relationship with them. However, I do like both dogs and cats.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
I love the team, challenge and limitless possibilities.

Makan Hoorizadeh

COO

Read Bio

Makan started his career as a finance and operations strategist in healthcare. In pivoting to operations within e-commerce, he has found a lot of excitement and fulfillment in a fast and growing industry. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and long walks with his dog. The most inspiring part of his job is the team that he works with. If he weren’t so damn good at his job, he’d probably be one heck of a pro basketball coach.

I played tennis my whole life, and just like in my career I am always pushing to be better and win. I was ranked in the top 10 in the nation among my peers before attending The University of Texas at Austin, where I graduated with a major in Sports Management, along with a Minor in Business. During my time there, I won the John Breaux Cajun Classic (Shown on ESPN) , Became a Big 12 Champion, and assisted our 2019 Team to become National Champions. Working at Ennovation Brands has led me to push in business and management, and I am always striving to be better, learn, and be a team player. Our innovative technologies and encouraging team are accomplishing new goals each quarter, and I am proud to be managing our Development team while being the lead recruiter for our company.

Cats or Dogs?
Both. I love all animals, and grew up with cats and dogs. It’s another reason why this company is amazing: you can bring your pet to work any day!

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
We are always trying to innovate, which is exciting, and being able to work on a project that can change the world is a dream.

If I were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
If I were a superhero, my super power would be to teleport. My biggest challenge is managing time. I always feel like there are not enough hours in the day, so with this superpower, I know I would be able to achieve anything.

Amazon Marketing Manager / Project Manager

Read Bio

I am a self-taught Amazon Account Manager. Growing up, I never knew what I wanted to be. I started my professional life working as a security guard. I eventually changed paths to becoming a shipping clerk, where I was first introduced to Amazon. In my free time, I learn the ins and outs of Amazon and how to create listings and advertisements. My skill set since then has multiplied to aspects of product development, advertising on different platforms, and graphic design thanks to Ennovation Brands pushing employees to grow as an individual.

Cats or Dogs?

Dogs – I have always loved dogs, and love the relationship that can be built with dogs. I currently have a Husky.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

Working with an amazing team. Everyone works as a team, and the culture makes you enjoy coming in to work everyday.

If I were a superhero, what would your superpower be?

I would choose to fly. I wouldn’t have to worry about LA traffic anymore but also get to enjoy all the views.

I always knew I wanted to be a writer, but I fell in love with business and entrepreneurship along the way! I went to CSUN Northridge and obtained a bachelor’s in creative writing. During that time, I worked with several small businesses — exploring copywriting, marketing, content creation, and other avenues of the business world. I enjoy spending time with my family, writing short stories and personal essays, and marking travels and experiences off my bucket list!

Cats or Dogs?

Dogs!

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

I love that I’m always learning and doing something different every day! On top of that, I really enjoy being part of a team that’s on a mission to revolutionize the health and beauty industry.

If I were a superhero, what would your superpower be?

Time travel — wait, is that even a superpower?!

I guess a few very proud things I can talk about in my life are the family who surrounds me, the 35 countries I’ve traveled to and the friends I’ve made along the way.

The path I’ve taken is a clear indicator that I’m in the right field of work.  I went into journalism to write, make and tell stories.  I’ve succeeded in doing so as I wrote for publications, was a tv show producer and an on-air broadcast journalist.  Without my friends, family and the experiences I’ve had, I wouldn’t have excelled in my passions.

I’m definitely a dog person, but animals in general are a complete obsession of mine.  While I travel to learn about different cultures and history— you’ll find me looking up what new animals I can visit while touring the town.

Some other fun facts are I graduated with honors and in the top of my class in high school and in college, was a dancer my whole child and teenage life—going on to be a pro dancer for a few years in Los Angeles and I can finish a medium to difficult level Sudoku puzzle in 7 minutes or less.
